Longhorn Moovers originated from the personal experiences of its founders during their respective times in university. Each co-founder repeatedly endured the pain of moving in and out of dorms with minimal help besides friends and family. Our mission is to be the first and only moving service, operated by students for students, which provides a free method to help students move in and out of their apartments.

WHO do we serve?
Longhorn Moovers currently serves incoming, current, and graduating students of the University of Texas at Austin for all on and off-campus housing options in Austin, Texas. As we project our future growth, Longhorn Moovers has the ability to expand our business model to serve University of Texas faculty and students of other Austin-based higher education institutions, like St. Edward’s University and all branches of Austin Community College.

Longhorn Moovers hopes to partner with and financed by university housing institutions, sponsors, donations, and private dormitories to pay for our service to help move students on a specific move in/move out day. We likewise hope to build, at each university possible, a steady body of Moover laborers who will be ready to work with local housing groups to facilitate the moving process.
